Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Breakdown Assistant (operated by Jungle Software) collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. Unproduced screenplays are confidential intellectual property, and we treat them that way throughout.

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your name and email address.
  • Your uploaded screenplay files and the breakdown data (cast, props, and other elements) generated from them.
  • Billing records: which credit packs you purchased and when. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them.
  • Basic usage data (e.g. when a breakdown was run) needed to operate the Service.

2. How your script is stored and protected

  • Uploaded files are stored encrypted in private cloud storage. They are never made public and are only ever accessed via short-lived, signed links generated for you.
  • Script text is never written to application logs.
  • Scripts and everything derived from them (scenes, elements, tagged outputs) are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after upload, and immediately upon your own request from the Scripts page.

3. AI processing

Breakdown generation is performed by a third-party AI provider. Only the screenplay text needed to produce your breakdown is sent to that provider, under terms that exclude using your content to train their models. Your script is never shared for any other purpose.

4. Who we share data with

  • Our AI provider, solely to generate your breakdown (see above).
  • Stripe, to process credit purchases.
  • Our cloud hosting and storage providers, solely to run the Service.
  • We do not sell your data or your screenplays to anyone, ever.

5. Your rights

You can delete any script and its derived data at any time from the Scripts page, or delete your account entirely from your Profile page. Both actions are immediate and permanent.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect information from anyone under 16.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
